Persistent stalling problem

Car is a 92 Z w/L98 700r4. The car seems to have a stalling problem that just wont go away. The car stalls whenever you put it in gear to reverse or sometimes when stopped at a light. New parts that have been replaced in hopes of fixing it include; injectors, fuel pump, fuel filter, iac, tps, torque converter, along with various tune ups. Been thinking it could be a vacuum leak, but been replacing/inspecting lines with no change.

Could an excess amount of fuel tank pressure have anything to do with it? When removing the gas cap there seems to be allot of pressure built up in the tank.

Any other ideas of input?

Re: Persistent stalling problem

Haven't done anything with the IAC? (you know, that part that actually controls idle?) Sounds like it isn't reacting as fast as it should. You can try pulling it out, and cleaning the snot out of it.... if that doesn't help, next step would be to replace it.

Some pressure in the gas tank is normal. Considering the TPI system operates at 43 PSI, pressure in the tank isn't even a consideration.
