'86 Accord LXI won't start when warm

It has been doing this off and on, but now it is constant problem and this is how it acts.

Start up, super easy no problem when cold. Idle is 1200 but slowly oscillates up to 1500 and then back to 1200 again in sort of slow even rhythm.

Leave the car run in neutral and idle will not drop until I press the brake or put it in gear, then falls to 700 or sometimes lower. CEL turns on at this point. Lightly tap gas and it hesitates. Hit gas too hard it may die. Car has now been running 5-10 min.

Turn off car, it will not start again for about two hours or until cold.

I re-soldered master relay, it looked good. I can hear it click. What to check next, ideas? Thank you

Wow! You never see the ultra-rare Camaro Accord LXI on these forums!

Check for any vacuum leaks, my car did the same thing before I restored all my vacuum lines to stock like they came from the factory. Would have a very high idle, then drop down in gear. Fixed all leaks and now idles smooth in all gears

Funny this came here I love the third gen Accords and spent many happy hours modding my 1988 LX-i. You might want to check the code for the CEL IIRC there is a little plastic door under the drivers seat you can open and see a LED blink to get the code. Other than that check the **** ton of vac lines.

Check out www.3geez.com they may be able to help more
