Mini-ram question

Would a min-ram flow enough air for my 400 small block?? Or port and polished one?? I'm moving my plans forward cause my buddy just bought a '87 Grand National and i can't lose to him. And i don't want to use a carb.

i dont really know specs on it or anything but depending on how wild ur engine is you should be ok, assuming its not like 600hp or anything.

Hoping to be in the 400HP range or close to it. Do anyone know if you can find these things used or not??

You see 'em for sale used occasionally, but not very often. You could try the LT1 or LT4 intake conversion like Millican

I think Jester is running a 400 with a miniram on it.. There are people doing it so it must work.. If you want to Make HUGE numbers turn a carb over to fi.
If you want to run like 600 hp holley and edelbrock offer som similar products

The mini-ram would do just fine. Ive seen them on 720 horse motors before. However theyre extremley expensive,I just sent an LT-1 intake to John Millican to have him fab it for me. Im hopin' to make 750 on the bottle.

How much does John charge to modify the LT1 intake?? Also what do you do about your computer chip?? Does it have to be reprogrammed??

He charged me $200 to mod the intake, and for another $80 he'll supply the necessary custom fuel lines. You dont have to reprogram, but it would be a good idea to. Im using DFI.
