Which runners
Which runners would be better for my set up? I have a set of SLP and TPIS runners. They will be getting bolted to a bigmouth manifold. I am not sure which set to use. Mods are in the sig.
Thanks

With a 406 I would go with the SLP's. They're siamesed, which are tailored more for high end horsepower and will let that big engine breath. The Tpis runners are just plain old long tubes, which promote low end torque and will choke you off in the upper rpms. Considering the torque potential of that mill, I wouldn't worry too much about loosing any of your abundance of low end torque in trade for the high end breathing ability. You might want to even extend the siamessing further with some grinding to increase this effect, you have to figure your gonna have low end power to spare.
By the way, do you have any interest in selling the pair you don't use, I am kinda interested in both sets.
Good Luck
