timing ?
timing ?
hmmm where to start. I originally had the stock 19 lb injectors in my car and had it running pretty good. Well that didnt last long and I installed some svo 24 lb injectors that i allready had ( yes i know it wont run correct without proper PROM tuning) and i drove it like this for a few weeks but after messing with the timing and fuel pressure i decided to put the stock injectors back in because it ran better with them. well i set the timing and fuel pressure back to what it was in the beginning (4* BTDC and 48psi). When I "test" drove it earlier it bogged down and acted like it wanted more timing advance. I have adjusted from the 4* BTDC on up to 9* BTDC and it still had a studder in it but it wasnt nearly as bad. Should i try moving the timing farther up? or do i need to bring it back down around TDC?

Why not get into eprom burning? Simply increasing the base timing will often trigger the knock sensor. Controlling the spark advance curve in conjunction with the Knock Sensor will yield the best performance gains.
Also, it sounds like you need to play with the "pump shot" for "off idle".
