Removing B&M Shift Improver Kit
My transmission is out of the car and I have installed the B&M shift improver kit. After reading the post in this forum, I now want to remove it before I put the trans. back in the TA. Could someone tell me what would happen if I put it back stock and left the enlarged feed holes in the seperator plate? If this is a bad idea(and I have a feeling it is), could someone tell me where I could find a new seperator plate?
Thanks.
Thanks.

I think you can get one through GM. I asked this a while ago somewhere else, I was told to weld the hole shut and re-drill it. I'm in the same boat, I put the B&M kit in myself, and wouldn't mind taking it out. (sigh) Oh well, I've got to rebuild this trans anyway, it's on it's way out. Except, I won't rebuild this trans- I'll rebuild a junkyard trans, and hopefully it won't have the B&M kit in it.

Thanks Tom. I got a new seperator plate from gmpartsdirect.com.
FYI for anyone needing this part, if you have 6YP stamped on your transmission the part # is 8654482.
