1 Simple Question

What is the best way of getting 100% of my WOT!?
Apparently the valve GM makes is only 75% and the one from B&M is 85%
Do I need the whole TV Plunger and cable?
If I'm wrong, lemme know

Thx..

b&m kickdown valve

I'm assuming you are referring to the b&m throttle valve sleeve... Yes, it does allow you to run in overdrive at wide open throttle at speeds over 70mph (if I remember correctly). As far as what you need to replace, it is the aluminum sleeve that the tv plunger goes into.. There is one roll pin retaining this sleeve in the valve body.. Just take the trans pan off, and its right there. Easily serviced in the vehicle...

passing gear

one more thing, you can still manually shift it into third for easy passing power...

I've heard of different types of kits..
some let me go 75% WOT and not downshift, some let me do 85%
I want the FULL 100%
so you're saying that replacing those parts will get me FULL 100%? and not only 75% or 80% compared to stock 50% ?
thx

Basically, I just want to know EXACTLY what part(s) I need to get NO DOWNSHIFT whatsoever
Not 75% WOT 4-3 Downshift, not 85%, NO downshift at all
100% WOT.. Regardless of the price..

I thought that I already told you this... I used to have the b&m kickdown kit, and it would not shift down into 3rd at highway speeds (or above)...
