strange 12-Bolt or strange Ford 9"....HELP

I'm building an 89 iroc with approx. 600-650Hp, and am wondering what rear to buy for the car? a strange 12-bolt or a strange Ford 9"? What are some of the advantages and disadvantages of them? Any info would be great!!

Car: 1996 Jeep Cherokee
Engine: 4.0
Transmission: 5 speed
I would get a Dana 60. Takes just as much abuse as a 9 incher, but takes much less power to move. IMO, its the best rear axle in prodution. But, if its between the 9 in. and the 12 bolt, I would go with the 9 inch.

9" easy to change carriers, and ratios. 12 bolts use c clips, 12 bolts weight less, way more parts, new or used to be had for a 9"
