Clutch issues
Alright, today i was bleeding my clutch and when i got a friend to step on the thing it snapped the little plastic strap thingy and fired the entire assembly inside across the room. The whole affair was quite funny, the insides of the cylinder positively shot across the room... stupid hydraulics... anyway, that left me with no clutch.
I got a new slave cylinder and now I'll need to replace the existing unit. I noticed that the rubber hose was integral with the slave cylinder and that the replacement has no such hose hanging off of it. I read the instructions that came with the new cylinder and I guess that there's some sort of pin holding the old hose in there. Anyone ever done this before and can give me advice regarding the slave cylinder replacement? P.S. I left the car in the shop up on the alignment rack, so I wont have access to it until tomorrow... lucky me...
Thanks,
