sounds like you need the shift lever for the drivers side shift stud. Check with a transmission shoppe.

The bracket you need can come off any number of 4bbl Chevy applications.

Junkyard, transmission shoppe, dealer, etc.

well, so far i havent solved jack sh*t.

...i'm trying to find a longer drive shaft than what i need, and get it cut down at a local shop.....i guess you can shorten one, but to "lengthen" one is either impossible, or extremely expensive.....

anyways, ya got to first find a th350 slip yoke that will fit your tranny...i tried three diff 350th slip yokes til i found one that fit...so i'm pretty sure there not the same......thats first

Yes I have the bracket for the throttle cable and kickdown cable.
I'm currently parting out a 86 Firebird thats a 305 carbd car and it has the bracket you need. As far as the yoke go's, the 700r4 and turbo 350 use the same yoke.I've done 3 700 to T350 swaps and they all use the same yoke. Just remove the yoke from your factory driveshaft and install it on a 3in. longer driveshaft.

i've heard the slip yoke is "suppose" to be the same....but the 700 slip yoke wont fit into my TH350 tranny....

i know its "suppose" to...but it dont...

let me know what you'd have to have out of your brackets...

thanks

Did the rear tailhousing just get a new bushing? The bushing got deformed when it was installed. They definitely use the same slip yoke spline & o.d.

$20 shipped for the shift lever and kickdown bracket. Have you got a Drimmel? If I already had a chrome bracket I think I would try enlargeing the hole to make the bracket work unless you can return the chrome one and get the correct one for around the same price.

ya dont have the L-shaped linkage that goes between the frame, with the spring thingy on it, that attaches to the transmission for a TH350 do you???

mine is for the 700, and wont fit in the holes on the u-shaped bracket that attaches to the transmission
