Looking for a shift kit...
I just put a new cam in my car so here's what I've got as of right now:
Hedman Headers & Y-pipe
Flowmaster 3" cat-back (no cat.)
Edelbrock Performer EPS intake manifold
Holley 600cfm carb. w/ vc. secondaries
Cam w/ .465" lift and 224* duration @ .050
I felt a pretty nice difference with the new cam in but my car shifts so slow. I think a shift kit would help a LOT but I can't decide on one. Should I get the cheap $30 one from B&M and get a Corvette servo or get a transgo shift kit? I'm trying to save $$$ but I'm not gonna get something just because its the cheapest. Can any of you give me some suggestions?

I've heard good things about transgo kits. If you want a firm shift you can always replace the main spring with a solid rod, you'll chirp every gear
. Can't remember the exact name of the spring though.

In my opinion, B&M makes a good , cheap, kit. I have used many and set them on super firm. If the 1-2 shift is too firm, you can swap the white spring into thw 1-2 accumulator to soften it up. You will learn about these parts from the detailed instructions in the kit.
The Trans-Go modified Performance Shift kit that I carry has the large boost valves, Corvette servo, and offers smooth 1-2 part throttle shifts, and firm WOT shifts. It offers much more than the B&M valve body kit, especialy if you go inside the transmission.
