how do i get to the top two transmission bolts with out take out the eng? plz help me thank you

 

I got to mine with a wrench fairly easily. I think I had the distributor out so you might want to pull the distributor.

 

36" of extension and a 9/16" swivel.

 

I got to the top two with either just a wrench or a ratchet with a short socket. The bolts in the middle on either side were the ones that required a 36" extension and a swivel. Either way, the engine has to be tilted down. I didn't have to take the distributor off, but be careful how much you lower the engine or you will damage the cap.

I should also tell you that the way I did the 36" extension was by taking a bunch of 4" and 6" extensions and piecing them together. It will give you just a little bit of wiggle and possibly save you the effort of working with a swivel.

 

I let the engine/tranny tilt down towards the back of the car and about 2' extension with a impact gun. If you leave your distributor in, make sure it doesn't hit the firewall.

 

You guys are going to great lengths to get the bolts out. I was always able to get the top four with a wrench and the bottom two with a rachet.

 

If your intake/wiring harness etc. is still on, its damn near impossible to get to the top 2 bellhousing mount bolts with a wrench.

 

i can loosen the eng mounts and it will tilt the eng but i dont got a eng lift

 

Jack back of the transmission up all the way and you can then reach them from behind the engine leaning over the the engine compartment.
