bellhousing
Re: bellhousing
It'll bolt up fine, but it won't be in the right position. The old T10 housings mount the trans straight up. The T5's in 3rd gen f-bodies are mounted to where they're slanted towards the driver's side. In short, it bolts up, but it won't work right with a T5 trans.

Re: bellhousing
I am probably just going to keep my T-10 at least till it blows up, but just out curiosity why won't it work right with the T5 trans?

Re: bellhousing
Will need to do something about the trans mount. As it won't sit flush on the crossmember. Can either section the member or shim the mount. Torque arm will be twisted a little, but usually isn't a big deal.

Re: bellhousing
It works. Although the trans will be rotated about 18 degrees. May want to heat and bend the shifter handle to a better position. This isn't really a requirement, more of a cosmetic item.
