Car: 91 rs
Engine: 305tbi
Transmission: 700r4
Axle/Gears: 3.27 9bolt
trouble removing driveshaft!
first, sorry for starting a new thread. secondly i started my swap today. im having trouble getting the drive shaft removed. is there some special trick to this. i have the 4 bbolt removed from the rear yoke and the swap guide says to push forward and pull down but the thing wont budge!could having the tranny in park/ gear effect this. thanks for the imput. its greatly appreciated.

put a pry bar behind the ujoint and give it a firm whack. it should pop forward.

The driveshaft is a pain to get off, nothing a pry bar wouldnt solve though.
