converter question
how can u tell if your torque converter is lockin up? My gas mileage has dropped steadily over the last 2 months...its not sensor fuel or igntion related...the tranny does need to be serviced...but if the TC wasn't locking up that would kill my MGP right? so how can i tell if its locking up? Thanks!!

At freeway speeds, when at light throttle you should be able to touch the brake pedal lightly (enough to make the brake lights come on) and watch the tach rpm's go up 150 or more rpm, and as soon as you let off the brake the rpm's should drop back down.
Hope This Helps!!!
