Total width of rear ends...89, 95 ? will it fit?
Does anyone know the difference in the widths of the 89 rear(with drums) and a 95 rear (with disc) both out of camaros. I am looking to upgrade my 2.73 open rear to a posi 3.42 and I found a 95 rear that might work if it isn't different.
Also will my rims fit the bolt pattern and backspacing correctly on the 95 rear? My car is an 89 Iroc while the rear is out of a 95 Z28.

The rear end out of the '95 (4th gen) is approximately 3-4 inches wider than the '89 (3rd gen). The bolt pattern is the same for the wheels. If you get wheels off of a 4th gen F-Body, they will fit perfectly on your car without sticking out.
