T-5 question
Alright, i did a few searches to find the exact information that i want and i couldn't really find it.
My question is... what are the chances that a t-5 will hold with my 350 vortec crate motor for at least a year or two?
Basically my trans (700r4) blew up and Ive got a few years til i graduate from college (after that pt.. the t-5 trans can blow up and i wouldn't care because i will put a better one in with the income i will have). ANYWAY lol... I just want a manual transmission for my camaro ... and i really dnt want it to blow up in 4 months.
Can anyone also give me some Clutch / pressure plate options that would work well with 350 give or take crank hp.
Thanks alot for any help!!!

Re: T-5 question
thanks dude! and that centerforce II, what about the pressure plate? do you use a light weight flywheel? would you recommend one for longer trans life?

Re: T-5 question
Yes.
No. (I'd suggest that longevity has more to do with driving style, regardless of weight.) BTW, performance-oriented thirdgens, such as the L69, were equipped with the GM light-weight flywheel, which is the one I'm using.
