.500 boost and .300 reverse boost valve install

I have the pan on my 86 700r4 down to change the filter and have a new pan with a drain plug to install. I also have a corvette servo and a new 1-2 accumulator and firmer spring that I will put in. I see that the .500 boost and .300 reverse boost valves are inexpensive. Where are they located and does it involve removing the valve body? Is there any other worthwhile mods to do that don't involve removing the valve body? Not really looking to get that deep into it at the moment.

Re: .500 boost and .300 reverse boost valve install

Found the answer to my questions by looking at some shift kit install instructions and it doesn't require the valve body coming out. So I have the boost valves coming in the mail. Will be changing the valves, putting in a vette servo, and a new 1-2 accumulator with a firmer spring. And will close it all up with a new filter, gasket, and pan with drain built in to it. I allready have the pan down and the fluid was still mostly pinkish and didn't see a lot of metal in the pan or on the magnet.
