Dana 44, bolt in axle flange question.

Guys I am working on getting my Dana 44 ready for assembly. Does anyone know how thick the brake bracket needs to be in order for the bolt in axles to be retained properly? The diff came with a set of brackets but they don't look stock.

On my 9-bolt which also has bolt in axles, the brake bracket is slightly thicker than the protruded lip of the flange. However the 9 bolt has a different axle retaining flange than the D44.

I will get some pictures tomorrow.

Thanks,

John
