Help with salve cylinder
Hey guys, I'm trying to get my slave cylinder bolted up but I can't seem to get it to compress enough. The bleeder screw is removed. I still have about a quarter inch space before I can get it flush with the bell housing. The clutch fork has backwards play, but doesn't move any farther forward. Normal?
BTW, this is a T5 and is an 700r4 conversion. The hydraulic assembly is used from the donor car. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Help with salve cylinder
Thanks, that's encouraging to hear. I figured using bolts to pull it in would snap the plastic housing. What's the c-clamp for?
Sorry, first time doing a hydraulic clutch. I've only had to mess with cable in the past. The other hydraulic cars I've had never gave me any reason to remove.

Re: Help with salve cylinder
To squish it into place.
Take your pick, either way works.
If you use the bolts, just tighten em kinda slow, so the fluid has time to get pushed out; don't use an impact or something.
