700r4 Dipstick/filler tube

I've recently rebuilt my tranny and noticed that my filler tube is now kinked and leaking beyond repair. I've been searching high and low for the correct fit replacement, but after three failed "universal 700r4 fit" aftermarket tubes, I have absolutely no patience or tolerance for another incompatible tube.

My question is, where I can find a filler tube that will be guaranteed to fit my 1989 Firebird Formula 350, 5.7L v8 700r4 transmission?
Before you say "local junkyard", let me tell you I have even called out-of-state junkyards who claim that I will be unable to find one very easily. AutoZone, NAPA, Advanced, O'Rielly's, Hawk's, and CarQuest have none either. I'm sure a lot of you know much more about these cars than most, so I've enlisted your help.

As you can tell, I am beyond desperate for one of these. I have been unable to drive this since last August and I'm not going to waste half the summer trying to find one of these tubes.
Thanks for the help.

Re: 700r4 Dipstick/filler tube

I don't know specifically about the F-body but I've used the one from the local transmission rebuilder's supply house in several 700R4's and they've fit most everything from a V8 Toyota pickup to a couple of V8 S10's I did and a 700R4 in an early C10 I put in a friend's truck (now that I think about it seems like almost every dang 700R4 I buy for swapping doesn't have the dipstick with it...)

They had a label something like "FITZ-All" or something similarly cheezy sounding but worked great and actually had the locking top where the lever pushed over and locked in the tube. OH - and they were cheap - I think like $15-18 if I remember...

Re: 700r4 Dipstick/filler tube

Right:

The engine, that the tube bolts to, and the transmission, that it goes into, are exactly the same in any vehicle equipped with a small block Chevy V8. The wrinkles in the sheet metal wrapping around it, or the stickers package it comes dressed up with, doesn't change anything at all about the functional parts.
