How strong is the 85' z/28 3.23 rear end?
I just bought a 375hp 305 motor. I'm rebuilding my t5 so it can hold up a little, but I'm worried about the rear end holding up. I'm going to run big tires in the rear just because I love the look. (and functionality of course) Do you think it will hold up? I don't know the torque numbers. If you don't think so what rear end would you recommend?

Same as any other 80ish - 2002 10-bolt. Which is to say, not very.
But not to worry: the T-5 will mostly protect the rear axle. The 305 factor will help too. It'll probably be fine.
