On the road again!!!!
Well I got her back Saturday...
HOWEVER after completion of the road test, they tell me that the brakes went "soft" and they suspected a ripped brake line. So I went to the Zone and got a pair along with some PB blaster. picked the wife up and I follow her home using the E-brake to slow me down/stop.
Coming down the last hill, I pull the handle to slow down and I hear the dreaded PLUNK. Cable is stretched --- no brakes
!!!!!
Threw it down into 2 then 1. Stopped safely and drove home SLOWLY. Parked it at the bottonm of the driveway. Yep split wide open hose. Changed it and bled the system. Good to go but wife wouldn't let me drive it until I changed the other side. Did that last night and tightened the cable adjuster. E-brake works but one warmer day I will change the cable out along with pressure washing the chassis.

Them brake hoses suck as they can g with out an out signs of wear.
I had one turn too mush inside, outside of the hose was fine. It would only let fluid in but not out. after replacing it i cut it open and the tiny rubber hose inside was super soft and collasped.
Like the little internal hose is dependant on sticking to the outer hose, so it cant do that.

Whew, glad you got home alright. Yeah, we should've all changed those hoses at least once by now. I plan on changing mine a second time when I rebuild the suspension this summer. (I'm even putting on new front calipers.. for $10/each, why not?)
