Saw that they mentioned Hondas in the same ad as Camaros. What are they trying to sell, those spiffy stickers that make your car faster. :-)

All that does is fool your computer into thinking the air entering the engine is cooler than it really is. Satisfy the urge by throwing money into a paper shredder. At least that wouldn't risk hurting your car.

Slow 2.8, it's a $0.19 resistor, with $2.00 connectors at each end to make it "plug and play". Wow. I'm in the wrong business.
By putting a resistor in line with your MAT, the computer sees a cooler temp.
In case you want to fool with your air intake sensor's resistance, have fun with this: (scroll down to see the table, I don't know why it skips so many lines)
<table BORDER=3 CELLSPACING=3 CELLPADDING=3 >
<tr><td><b>Temp F</b></td><td><b>Temp C</b></td><td><b>Ohms</b></td></tr>
<tr><td>210</td><td>100</td><td>185</td></tr>
<tr><td>160</td><td>70</td><td>450</td></tr>
<tr><td>100</td><td>38</td><td>1,600</td></tr>
<tr><td>70</td><td>20</td><td>3,400</td></tr>
<tr><td>40</td><td>4</td><td>7,500</td></tr>
<tr><td>20</td><td>-7</td><td>13,500</td></tr>
<tr><td>0</td><td>-18</td><td>25,000</td></tr>
<tr><td>-40</td><td>-40</td><td>100,700</td></tr>
</table>
According to GlennL98, though, the 2.8 ECM only uses the MAT for EGR operation.

There is nothing quite like the worse milage mod.
Thats basically what it is.
Nice table Tom, I have seen that several times. One of these times I am actually going to save it to my computer.

By making the car think the air coming in is colder, the car naturally assumes the air is denser. Denser means more air. More air means more fuel..therefore, slight rich condition...worse gas mileage.
