The throws on my gear box are really long, is there anyway i can shorten them? like put and extra plate in the gear box, i know that works with my motorcycles but i'm nto so sure with my car. if i cut the shifter shorter will it make the throws feel shorter??? thanx

I think that at summit racing they have short throw shifters and if they don't have then I am sure somewhere that carries hurst shifters will have one for your car.
