Wow; didn't even notice I had that many messages. Hm, guess I'm spending way too much time on thirdgen.org!

No pics yet; you can see the rear corner of my car at http://www.geocities.com/tomp_3rdgen , but so far, nothing else on the web. Doing a website is on my to-do list... when I get some free time.

I bought a Mustek DV-3000 digital camera though, so at least now, if I do pictures of something (like dropping the fuel tank), I don't have to get 'em developed or scan them in.

Then maybe it's time someone gets off Thirdgen.org and shine up his car for a few snapshots

Oh wait, that's right... the weather around here has been so lousy I haven't washed my own car....

Damn dude....that's a lot of free time wasted. Congrats dude.

Speaking of cleaning the car.. It looks like a hobo's been living in my back seat for the past two weeks...it's horrific. But it's too hot to clean it out. And when it stops being hot, it rains. A lot. So, there's no point in washing it either. The front rims have turned from silver to black....and the sides of the car have mud and bird crap on them. Yes..the sides have bird crap..not the top.....don't ask how that happened because I don't know. I guess they're cruise missiling those suckers now....

I know you were joking on the wasted part. But no one can say he wasted his time. Hes the only guy on these boards who posts a page of reading everytime. Without his 10000 posts most of us would still be in our driveways saying wtf does this do...

What I meant is.....free time wasted for HIM, not for US! Half of us would either be screwed, or have to wait an extra 48 hours for a decent answer if it weren't for good ole reliable TomP.

LOL... damn birds. Okay guys, enough, I'll wind up with a head so big I can't get into my car... we all help each other out here, I'm not the only one!! And technically this is all non-tech so let's get back to our cars...

Thx,

Attach a pair of wings and a jet engine to the car....next time ya see those damn birds, achieve lift-off, turn back around, and suck em right through the turbine.

No...but the way you typed that, it sounds like you have!

I haven't seen it personally, but I've heard a story of a bird getting ripped to shreds by a single-prop and pulled into the engine. He said the cockpit immediately started to smell...the engine kept sputtering....so they landed it. Took him a full week to clean all of the bird guts and body parts out of the engine/engine compartment.

That's how they tested the first generation of turbojet engines.

Fire 'er up, and toss the chicken through! I havent' seen it personally, but I've seen pics! I think it was in the Encyclopedia, actually...
