sry thats the only one i have, but on the other side it looks like there was 2 way tape on it and 2 bats inside i am thinking something to do with the alarm,maby....

Kinda chinsy looking for factory equipment... Batteries...why in the hell would it have batteries? Are you sure??

I've never seen something like that before though....where do those two lines tied with it go to? Maybe one of them is to your battery or spliced in somewhere where it draws battery current..... They look like freakin headphone cords!

You say you have an alarm system so that makes the most sense. Are they pressure sensative so if the hood is opened it will sound the alarm? That would be really easy to test.

well it has the horn thing that is for the alarm and there is a wire cut that was connected to the positve wire and i think it connecter the altinator. but i dont have no alarm clicker so i would have no why to turn it off. i will get a bunch of shot tomorrow, i cant stand all these wire laying around not knowing were they go.

Does it affect the performance or any one function of the car? If not,,,rip the f-u-c-k-i-n-g thing out and make a wish in a lake.
It's probably not even factory so don't worry about it.

Does kinda look like a side marker...but it should have a socket on the other side..and the back is too weird. Not to mention the wires running with it look like crap...really thin gauge..like a 20 or 22 gauge it looks like. Not meant to handle much.
