First time adjusting the TV detent cable.

I was snooping around reading the articles trying to see what my next mod would be and noticed this one:

https://www.thirdgen.org/newdesign/tech/detent.shtml

Holy Crap!

This made a HUGE difference, and it did not cost me a cent. In the past I was unable to get my car to kick-down at all. I would be driving down the freeway with the pedal to the floor and only sometimes would it even think of kicking down, especially as of late. This is no longer an issue.

I am so happy, I went around the block to test it out and I could get it to kick down on command.

If you have not done this on your thirdgen I really reccomend it.
What a great little adjustment. I know TomP had said something about it in his major tune-up, but since I didn't understand what he meant I just skipped that step and did all the others since I did understand them.

Congrats, reminds me of the first time I did that. Whoo... Heh, yah idle problems. Seems that once you fix the idle problem, a few months later another pops up. Mine always tend to be with a injector or two getting dirty and lately vac leaks.
