which alternator
my alternator is dyin on me. as far as i know i have the 85 amp alternator. can i put on the 100 amp alt and be ok? i have a crank underdrive pulley on it. would the higher output alt make up for the underdrive pulley?

Engine: Pos 2.8 pulled and replaced with a 350 tpi motor converted to carb.
Transmission: 700r4, vette servo,shift kit, hayden 15"x8" trans cooler.
You do not need to worry about the higher alt output, actually it should help you out a bit.
