Not a comforting sight
This is what I found going out to my camaro this morning. Doesn't make you feel very comfortable. Anyone know how to get the window crank off an 85? This is the only thing I wasn't able to get off so I could replace the locking cylinder.

window crank off the inside? easiest is a special tool that costs like $5 or so. I have used needle nose pliers on other cars in the pst, but get the tool, much better & easier

I have lots of bright lights. walmart sells a light by lights of amercia. uses 45 watts and puts out 200watts $8-10. its like 400 really. makes it day time out side.
I just work around the crank. You can get everything lose enough to just spin the whole works out of the way. You shouldn't need much room anyways. I had to put in a lock clip on my rod and it was easy to get at the lock cyl.

Hey, thanks for the help. I'm going to be shaving the handles in the future, but that won't happen until I replace the driver's side door. I'll be putting a simple alarm on at the same time as well. I'll try doing it without removing the crank. I can't see a clip anywhere.
