GUYS
EVERYONE

PLEASE
start another thread to bitch about smog laws.

This thread is to help PACESETTER EXHAUST MAKE A BROADER RANGE CURRENT PRODUCED PRODUCT TO SELL MORE OF THIS SMOG LEGAL V6 HEADERS TO ALL US V6-ERS!

Smog laws only get changed IF ya get political muscle behind ya.

Not by replying to a thread asking for help about making a current smog legal product better for those who cannot buy the PaceSetter Exhaust Smog Legal Headers due to "certain/specific GM designed engine emission management systems under the hood".

Please start another thread to bitch about smog laws and applications.

I started this thread to HELP MR. FRED GERLE & PACESETTER, not to change the smog laws.
Don't be offended, anyone.
Please refrain from smog law/rule bitching in your responses in this thread.

Yeah, you're right - sorry about that.

I'll be ordering a set of Pacesetter headers myself, after I get the WB O2 I need for tuning the turbo beast!

It would be neat if you could combine the projects.

Let PS make a Doward friendly Turbo Y pipe per your specifications D. Just an option for the Y pipe with a set of headers.

Then you could just work on the performance part of the project. testing and tuning. No timely pipe bending and welding for you anymore. You can pack up the trailer and just camp out at the race track. Let PS do labor, you just play.

Just an idea.

Ill buy a set sometime, probably before 05 is out but other things need bought first. I want new tires. Don't need em but want em.

I hadn't thought of that. I'll send them an email tonight about that... maybe I can score a set of headers at cost or something for it

Yea Id go for it. They are more well equiped to spit them out for nothing and free up your time. Plus they would sell many more sets with that option. many many more.

It's really tough to not make a comment.

I already deleted three responses I wrote.

Still got no reponse from Mr. Gerle yet...

But, Dale- did you happen to notice ground clearance at all? Do you think you lost any, gained any, or did it stay the same?

I just had to do some surgery to my aftermarket y-pipe to put it back to the "factory" near-the-floorboards routing; hopefully Pacesetter kept it hugging the floorboards. To give you an idea- the top of my cat was about 4.5 inches below the floorboard! Now it's much closer; and I can't see the exhaust "hanging" beneath my car anymore.

ground clearence I would say the same. If its more or less, its nothing to speak of.

That site listed above, I posted pictures in an attempt to show routing and ground clearence.

Car is currently up on ramps if you desire more/better pics, different angles, whatever. Just speak up.

Fred G. told me he was out of town from thursday to tuesday, so hes not in his office today.
