tpi/mpfi

same type of fuel injection, both have a fuel injector for each cylinder. Tpi is just the name they give the v8's fuel injection.

The runners are supposedly tuned lengths for torque with a TPI setup.

If I remember correctly, TPI runners are all the same length.
The runners on our V6 engines are longer on one bank of cylinders than the other - if I am remembering correctly of course.

Everything else is common between TPI and MPFI. Both are batch-fire GM port injection systems.
