Engine Troubles
I have a 1991 Firebird 3.1L V6. I've posted on this board about several problems. Yesterday I found something new.
As it turns out, only 2 of the spark plugs in my engine are becoming fouled. They are the two closest to the front of the car on the drivers side.
There has also been a loud knock in the engine since right after I bought it back in November.
I have been told bad injectors can cause knocking. I am nable to tell where the knocking is coming from. Motor honey/oil stabilizer did not help the knocking.
Now, assume I don't know jack squat except the basics, and how to use tools. Someone please tell me what to go about doing to diagnose my problem. Think I should check the injectors? Well, how do I do that? Please be specific.

Well put a long screwdriver or stethoscope against the injector body and put your ear up to it and listen for a regular tick...if the tick is all over the place, or not there, but you can hear it on other injectors, then ya got a bad one....
Uhhhhm....you could try disconnecting the injector connection and plugwire to one of the bad cylinders at a time and see if the knocking changes or goes away.
