gas milage and timing

Axle/Gears: stock 10 bolt 3.08's
gas milage and timing

I was just wondering: ive got my timing set to abot 26 deggres thats where it runs optimle and im only getting 11 to 13 mpg And also i just didi my t5 swap and when im slowing down my rpms flucuate like my iac is bad.

26* base timing?????? i doubt it it be hard as hell to start the car
and when u di dthe t5 swap did u swap the automatic prom fo ra manual prom?

thats wut 3 timing light give me ive changed out the harmonic ballancer thinking it might have slipped still reading the same ive reset my dizzy 3 times comes out the same and when i set it to 10 deggres it runs but no acceleration or power

and i just got the swap done yesterday and havent got my prom in

Did you disconnect the EST wire on the firewall before you set the timing???

Would that matter is the PROM is wrong?

yes running an automatic prom with a 5 speed can lead to the irratic idle,and rpm fluctuations

well dave i figured it out with my timing i was running at the track last night and my harmonic came apart
