Forged internals

I have seen this time and time again...... finding off the shelf forged parts for this engine isnt rocket surgery people. The length of our rods and rod journals of our cranks are that same as the small block chevy rods except they will need to be shaved off the sides abit, local machine shop should have no problem doing it. As for psitons if you ar willing to bore your block out abit the Dodge 3.0 v6 pistons will fit and they have a set already in use in the turbo Mitsubishi 3000gt and Dodge Stealths, to use these pistons you will have to bush the piston end of the rod.... again local machine shops should have no problems with this. With that you will have a full forged lower end.

Thats the type and specs of the rods you need.

Click Mitsubishi on the left side, under that click pistons, then click on Wiseco Performance Pistons will be the top engine.

Yes all of this will work without hitting your valves or water jackets while boring.

Any questions ask away.

ur wrong on the rods, they are not the same as a sbc rod, a small journal sbc (327) rod is close to the v6 rod, they need to clearanced on the sides and the big end,and if i remeber right the lil end is onsize

to use these pistons you will have to bush the piston end of the rod
Wouldn't it be easier to have the piston machined to accept the GM wrist pins?
