Code 14/tranny problems

So on my way to school today I went to pass a guy and the tranny felt like it fell out of gear and than slammed back into gear. I think a lower gear because there was a lot of drag and it slowed me down when it happened. After the 2nd or 3rd time this happened I pulled off the road and checked the codes and got a code 14.
So being that I am at school I cant check to see what that is. Does anyone know what a code 14 is? Thanks

Yeah I just got home and checked. It didnt do it all the way home, but the tranny did feel a little more sluggish from a dead stop. I guess I should start saving for a rebuild.

Re: Code 14/tranny problems

Now the problem seems to come and go. I cant tell if the tranny is slipping or the car is kinda stalling and catching it self. I do throw codes once and a while while driving but it turns off as soon as I look at it. And then they usually dont come back.
So how would you tell the difference between tranny problems and the car stalling. I dont know a lot about transmissions, so I cant tell what it is.
