starter compatablity

This my sound like a stupid question but that 2.8 and 3.1 when using the 700r4 use the same starter right?

Also dose any one have a starter for sale cheap? (like 15 bucks, working or not? i need one for core exchange.)

Re: starter compatablity

The 60* V6 uses practically the same starter no matter the engine size or transmission... But not between FWD and RWD, as FWD has the starter on what would be the driver's side on our cars (I'm assuming a non-European car).
