CCP/evap update.
Well, after changing all the sensors, I'm still running rich. So I decided to do an experiment. I changed out the TPS and tried to see if that was it. Nope. Since I have the Y-intake off of a 2.8 V6, I relocated the IAT sensor from the factory spot on the filter housing and drilled a hole in the gutted out MAF housing and put the sensor there. My sensor temp came down about 5 degrees, but still running rich. So next, even though I love my K&N filters, I put in some factory paper filters and I my BLM went up a little but still way to rich. HOWEVER, My CCP started to purge from constant OFF to cycling from OFF to ON and back. And then all of a sudden, it has stayed in the OFF signal for the past 2 days. Question. When I put in the paper filters, did it affect the air flow to the O2 sensor or what? What little change did the paper filters make to cycle the CCP system Off and on?
