Better Performance

What can I do to have a better engine performance without making to many changes. What exhaust system is best. What is a muffler (for sound or performance). I want to buy a K&N Air Filter. Are there better possibilities to increase air flow? Thanks for your replies !!!!!

There is only 1 exhaust:

Let it all breathe through a K&N Drop in and a nice tune up....

Uh Monkie, I'd have to be a goddamned moron to not realize that they are the same basic car.

But did he not ask about improving airflow? The air intakes on a 3rd gen 'Bird or Camaro are completely different! Especially if the car is a pre-'90, when Camaros had 2 filters and 'Birds had one.

And if the car was a pre-'85, then a carb is a whole different ballgame.
Hence why I had to ask!! You can do things to Camaro boxes you can't do to 'Birds!

On the Dynomax Cat Back

It was easy to install, priced right, high quality, sound was great, all mandrel bent, affordable (bought and installed for under 175)

On the Catco Converter

Flows better than stock and keeps the car enviro friendly

LOL...

Anyway, any test I've seen by magazines always shows the Super Turbo muffler outflowing a Flowmaster- but I never paid attention to "which" flowmaster muffler it was.
