Better Performance
Better Performance
What can I do to have a better engine performance without making to many changes. What exhaust system is best. What is a muffler (for sound or performance). I want to buy a K&N Air Filter. Are there better possibilities to increase air flow? Thanks for your replies !!!!!

Uh Monkie, I'd have to be a goddamned moron to not realize that they are the same basic car.
But did he not ask about improving airflow? The air intakes on a 3rd gen 'Bird or Camaro are completely different! Especially if the car is a pre-'90, when Camaros had 2 filters and 'Birds had one.
And if the car was a pre-'85, then a carb is a whole different ballgame.
Hence why I had to ask!! You can do things to Camaro boxes you can't do to 'Birds!

LOL...
Anyway, any test I've seen by magazines always shows the Super Turbo muffler outflowing a Flowmaster- but I never paid attention to "which" flowmaster muffler it was.
