OD at WOT

For anybody who wants to shift from third to OD at WOT with a 700R4 just get a kick down valve for your tranny and that should fix it. That valve is included in the police package CAMARO

i bought a kickdown kit from Summit but never had the time to install it. Never got around to listing it on the classifieds either. Does it really work all that well? I thought it just kept you in OD, not let you shift into it at WOT.

There's two... I have the one you bought, Overclck. If you're at WOT in 3rd, you just have to let off the gas a bit to get a 3-4 upshift, then the trans holds 4th. I love the valve.. in fact, even with normal driving, I have to downshift into 3rd, because the trans holds 4th so well. (I like that, other people might not.)

The one v6camaroguy is talking about is the GM valve- which is supposedly cheaper than the B&M one we have. It also comes with more parts.
