dual fans

would it be worth it to upgrade to the dual electric fans that are found on the Z28????
i figure that and a 160 thermo and a chip will keep the car really cool

it would be a kick A$$ ad on but i dont know how much horsepower you will gain. it might keep the engine a little cooler.

BUT,
ya gotta UPGRADE the alternator.
Those fans suck alot of power.
IF ya have that much cooling problem, seek out the right solution. Find your cause. These single fans do a good job, as is.
Dual fans are sold in performance catlaogs alot, too.

yeah, i figured it was a good idea but wondered why no-one ever thought of it before

well, i'm off to my summit catalog to see what they offer in the way of a dual fan setup
