Well the topic says all... whats the deal lately this is mthe most lock downs I have seen since joining up. I know this may very well get locked but I was just wondering whats the dealeo. Is it mostly cause of you know who or what?.


Now for something tech... Umm going to Keds Latestest strings of probs. The Ignition Modulator. Yeah Ok that'll work. LOL

A while back my car refused to start and looking through the manual I tracked doen everything that it coulda been(being how I usually work on non chevys) the modulator completely eluded me. The service manual had nothing on it(damn haynes). My neighbor comes over (hes been working on cars for moer years then he wants to admit) and says how about the modulator? I'm dumb founded at first then go doh!. He thinks he has a spare one in a distrib in his garrage so he says if it works 5 bucks. I put it in and whadda know it runs.

The Ignition Control Modular is the little item in the distributor cap. It sticks out the passenger side. Wires, two sets go in.
Mine, I had replaced when I had complete ignition failure.
Since that first replacment, I had engine run-on ALOT (shut off key, engine still runs, no power to fan, to cool engi4ne). I had to pull wire to coil to shut down, remove connections to battery to clear computer.
NO ONE KNEW WHAT THE **** WAS GOING ON!
Had first breakdown, see other recent post, you know whst I did.
That failed Fri AM & I got the new one. Then I also found other stuff.
Yea, I didn't check books. I had no spark & new coil. I knew my problem real quick.
IN MY CASE, I also replaced the coil in the distb, already.
Rebuilding distb. made my problem solving easy! Get yours from Kay Auto, Saul knows the score! 800-995-0296!

Let's leave the other issue alone, please. Please?
