no fire help asap
Ok I have the 2.8 and I have power at the coil changed the rotor cap i gn module still no fire to the plugs

Are you saying you have 12V at the coil? Have you tested for 12V both into and out of the coil? How are you testing for spark? Shooting in the dark, I'd say you need a new coil.

Have you ohmed out the ignition module to make sure the one you got was good? Its rare but could be a bad part. Try a search on this board, there should be a thread or two about testing all of the ignition components, resistance values and all that. ave you tested for proper power/ground and all that going to the ICM? Any chance of getting ahold of another distributor to swap and test?

Check the 2-wire connections at the coil and ignition module. Don't just look at them, flex the wires at each connector. I had an almost broken wire on one end of it right at the connector and had to hunt for a replacement.
And check for an AC voltage coming out of the pickup coil while cranking the engine and also that the PU isn't wired to the module backwards or one of the terminals has come out of the connector body and isn't making contact with the module terminal.
