GTA wheel differences

I was looking at a couple sets of Gta crosslace wheels and noticed that some where different. I know that they made 16x8 and 15x7 ( for GNX). On the 16x8 where they wheels that can with more lip then others or are all sets of 16X8 Gta wheels the same?

Re: GTA wheel differences

ALL GTAs got 16x8 wheels, but the front & rear wheels had different offsets. Front wheels are a direct fit on the rear but rear wheels are not direct fit the front. With a slip-on spacer they will work fine.

As for the 15x7s.....There are some with the crosslace design but those never came on GTAs, just on the earlier Firebirds.

And again on the 16x8s....There are 1987-only specific ones & 1988 & later ones. The 88+ had the little dimple at the edge of the laces by the polished lip whereas the 1987-only wheels didn't.

Then non-Pontiac, where the crosslaces originated are the Grand National wheels, which were all the 16x8 versions.
