Hawks 17" GTA wheels & LS1 Brakes

I looked at the thread in the brake section in regard to wheel fitment, hadn't seen any one post of the Hawks 17" GTA clearing LS1 brakes or not. After ordering the LS1 kit from Scott, I understand the factory GTA wheel requires a spacer. So I imagine the same shall hold true for the Hawks wheel? Just seeing if any vehicles out in the wild are running this set up.

Regards

Neil

the 17" gta wheel comes with a 6 or 7mm spacer so it *should* clear

Thanks Jason, I sent Scott Degeer a message as he's building the ls1 brake kit and he did confirm they will fit with the ls1 front brakes. My factory GTA wheels are in nice shape, but I really don't see purchasing tires for the 16s. Better options when looking at the 275/40/17 for the Hawks wheel.

I'm running ls brakes on the stock 16" Gta wheels if that makes you comfortable with the 17s. Slip on spacer and long studs and you should be ready to roll. If I'm not mistaken the Hawks wheels were designed to accommodate the ls brake offset.
