Blk Chrome C7 Z06 Vette wheels 18X9.5/19X12 installed pics!

Well as no one was interested in buying these wheels and tires, I mounted them and went through all the work of cutting out the rear bump stops and sledgehammer to the inside wheel wells to make the rears fit. The fronts fit fine with 1" spacer and the car already had a baer track 4 piston kit on the front so it probably would need 1.5" spacer with a stock brake setup. Rear spacer is 1.75" which I had laying around and it seems to be just what I needed. A smaller spacer in the rear and you will have alot of hammering to do along with pushing the rear axle back which I also did about 1/4-3/8" with adj LCA's. Offsets are 40mmF/59mmR. These wheels are not lightweight. The fronts weigh 56.5lbs with tire and the rear is 69.5lbs. Ill make sure not to have these on when I dyno the car lol. Tires are Cooper RS3-S 275/35R18 & 325/30R19. Surprisingly the rears dont stick out much if any. The panhard bar has been minimized as much as possible and with the car at 27"F/28"R to fender, the drivers side rear tire sticks out 1/4" and the passenger is flush. Im sure theres something I forgot to add and Ive just done the alot of different mods to the car in the past 18mo. This is the first time its out the garage and its too cold today(hose frozen) to wash it so I just cleaned the glass. Enjoy the pics, any questions let me know.

Looks awesome!
I have OEM C6 Z06 wheels which are basically the same size on one of my cars and it took a whole lot more work for mine. The difference is that mine sits much lower. I did a mini-tub & custom rear end to make it work with no spacers. Probably went a little overboard.

Since you cut your rear bump stops out to make them fit, I suggest figuring out a way to fabricate in some new ones. I'd be worried that you would it a big bump and the tire and fender lip would contact. Could tear up a tire or a quarter panel or both.

The bump stops are going to be put where the stock spring location was as i'm using coil overs on the rear. Just another thing to fab up but wont take much time or ingenuity. With the roads out here its almost a must do.

if you get a chance, I'd love to see some up close shots in the wheel well. I tried to run the GS Cup wheels (same size as those) and even after my mini tube I could not get the rears to fit. The tire came into contact with the panhard rod mount. There was just no way to fit them in my case.

You obviously have the wrong offset or not enough spacer. Pics of my wheel wells wont help if your already minitubbed. Your custom application takes time and measuring 3x. When I change the wheels in a few weeks mayb months ill take pics of inner wheel wells. Theres already several cars with plenty of the same pics on this site just do a search. Good Luck

I mocked it up with a rim simulator (infinite adjustment) using the 335/25 cup 2 tire. The work and attention to detail was extensive. The tire physically hit the pan hard rod mount and stuck out the wheel well. No where else for the tire to go. What size tire are you running? I also wanted a tight tuck which makes it even harder. I probably could have made it work with a narrower tire. None the less your set up looks great.
