I run a 15x10 with 6.5 bs with no problems but I have street tires, chances are If you're running a drag radial that's you problem.

ya running a 275x60r15 street radial. Well trying to run it lol I wonder if a 5.5 backspacing wheel would be better or worse

5.5 BS will push the rim out towards the fender more

You shouldn't have this problem. Did you measure your axle and verify its stock width? Mine wasnt.

You could consider carefully grinding down 1 side of the roto-joint to allow it to move inboard away from the tire & adding a spacer on the outboard side to compensate for the reduced thickness. This will give you a little more clearance. You can also go with a rod end type lower control arm (because they are thinner) with offset bushings. I think you can gain about 1/2" this way.

Re: Billet Specialties 15x10 6.5 bs help

studs only need to stick out 3/4" so your good but something is not adding up if thats a stock 3rd gen width rear?! Looks like you have a 3/4 spacer in there so now backspacing is 5.75" and there should be alot more room by the LCA. Make sure those wheels werent boxed incorrectly and they are 7.5" BS. I have about 7" backspacing with the vette wheels I have and there is more than 1/4" clearance at the LCA. Start by measuring those wheels!
