Backspacing and Wheel offset question

I am starting to look into wheels for my 1991 Camaro and I want to go with 18s.

For the front I am considering a pair of 18x8, 0 offset, and 4.5 backspacing or 18x8 +29 offset, and 5.625 backspacing.

For the rears I want to either go with 18x9.5, 0 offset, and 5.25 backspacing or 18x10, +30 offset, and 6.7 backspacing.

I’m no wheel expert but would either one of these wheel specs require spacers? I’ll be upgrading the front brakes in the future to either ctsv or c7 calipers if it matters or not.

Thanks!

Re: Backspacing and Wheel offset question

I have 18x9.5/40mm in front and they fit with CTSV Brakes. I run a 1.75” spacer.

I have 19x12 in the back.

I really dig the look of your car! Are you using spacers on your wheels?

Thank you, that is helpful. Are those the 14 inch rotors?

Thanks! That is very helpful. It seems like I would not have major issues with the wheel options I am looking at.

13.6” I think. Whatever the 09+ CTSV size is. I have an extra set of rotors with the centers bored if you’re interested and want to make me an offer.
