anybody familiar with VOLFENHAG subs ?

I saw on ebay a nice system (2 VOLFENHAG 12" ro 15" subs) for like 120 bucks. Are they good ? So far i've only seen devided opinions about them. What do you think ? Here's a pic of the 15" ones (the 12" have the same design):

They look great! Especially in a red Camaro. I have no idea how they sound though. I just bought 2 Polk GNX 12" and was considering the Volfenhag subs, but no one could tell me if they sounded good.

i hate to bring out an old post but, my good friend an i are putting 8 i said 8 12" volfenhag subs in his eclipse(*****) but anyway we got 4 in the other day, and he went to best buy and bought a 700 watt fosgate amp. and he only hooked up to at a 2 ohm load and any way those 2 12's manage to put a 3 inch crack i his hatch glass and the top of hi hatch where the hinges are litterally bounces up and rattles and his wing acts like it wants to fall off...but anyway they are really bad *** for cheap subs, me and him are in the porcess of putting 4 volfenhag 15's in my 88 bird...maybe that cleared up alittle uncertintay that some people had about them..but when we hook up all 8 of them and bring his car to a comp. ill let yall know his db scores but i know those 2 sunbs have to be in the high 140's..its loud...

my friend had some in a camaro and they sounded pretty good, but I wouldnt get their amp. His amp (1000watt) will over heat if he crankes it way up.

They are fancy looking Pyramids and you you don't what what Pyramids are then its best you don't know. They suck. I am a strong believer in you get what you pay for. If you want a quality sub then let me hook you up. My prices are better than all these guys like *kesound.com and so on.
