How Far is your screw into the AFPR?

hey, how far should my screw thing be up into the throttle body? Mine is all the way pushing onto the fuel line inlets so its a ways up there. Whats everyones else? I don't have a fuel pressure gauge so I can't tell where it is at right now.

$30 and you can have a 0-30psi gauge. $20 for the gauge and $10 for the fitting. I just sliced my rubber line that's just above the power steering box. Very easy to install so long as you know how to cut a rubber hose and tighten down a couple hose clamps. Oh yeah, and use soem teflon tape on the gauge!

HEY! Leave Vegeta alone! DBZ rules snuf - YOU can't shoot pure energy now can u?? lol. One question - since this is about fuel pressure - i've been toying w/the fuel pressure regulator on my Holley tbi and i'm really stuck. My plugs come out and they're very clearly running rich (the tips are tan but the rest of the plug is sooty) so i decided to back off 1/2 a turn on the tbi unit - but now the car's throwing codes once its warmed up (it seems to happen when the tranny shifts and drops rpms down to 1,500 and the engine bogs - i drove the car home from a friends last night and the check engine light kept coming on, fading away, then coming back on. I brought the screw back in 3/8 of a turn and it seems (seems i say) to have gone away but i'm kinda boggled b/c now the car throws a code if i get into it b4 its completely warmed up. I dunno if i'm running rich or if Tbi cars just like a lotta fuel. *shrugging* I've still got the 305 comp. so i'm hoping thats part of the problem. Maybe I should look into getting a 350 knock sensor and 02 sensor? Or maybe i'm just not used to sbc's - i can't believe my parents made my first car a honda! ARGH! DIRTY!!! lol. Thanx guys.

Find out what the error code is and replace the problem part. We can spend weeks telling you to replace the o2 sensor, the MAP sensor, and all this other crap but in the end it would just be cheaper for you to build the winaldl cable and borrow a friend laptop and run winaldl.

did it fit well or was it a tight fit?

Jegs: 656-101 that's for the 0-30psi fluid filled fuel pressure gauge is $19.99 and the fitting required to tap into the rubber flex line on the drivers side frame rail (above the power steering box) is part number 720-2975 that's ALL you need.
